Morfessor 1.0 is a program that takes as input a corpus of unannotated text and produces a segmentation of the word forms observed in the text. This version implements the Morfessor Baseline method.

The Morfessor software consists of one Perl script, which has been tested on a Linux operating system. Morfessor can be used freely under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). If Morfessor is used in scientific work, please refer to the technical report describing the Morfessor method and program.
